Calendar Art

WALT present a piece of artwork for our parents to buy.
Success Criteria
  • Take our time, show patience (GRIT)
  • Plan our piece of artwork
  • Take care with the painting and dyeing
  • Research for our inspiration
  • Explain the steps you took to make your artwork on your blog
  • How do you feel about your artwork?
  • What was  a challenge?
The challenge for our calendar art was to take time and show grit, we had to plan our piece of art on a piece of paper. Our inspiration was hand and foot print art. The way I feel about my artwork is that I felt proud we had to be careful with doing our painting and dyeing. The steps to making my artwork is you will need to dye a piece of paper and then get your hand or foot painted any colour you want.

The first robbers said " HELP whats that TERRIBLE NOISE?"

We should not have fairs at school.

In my opinion I think that no school should allow fairs.

One of the reasons we should not have fairs is that someone was in the line to get some food and then he goes over to talk to his friend and then another guy pops in to the other guy's place and then the guy goes back to his place and then the guys get into a fight

My second point is a lot of fairs have bouncy castles and lots of little kids that are under the ages of 4 like going on them but all of the big kids jump too high and knock the little kids off.  This is why it is so dangerous.

Another point is some fair’s start at 10:00 and then when it is night time and it is 11:00 people who live across the street can not get any sleep and they are awake all night and in the morning they are soooo tired

Therefore I strongly believe that we should not have fairs at school

Pets Should not be Allowed in Schools - Term 3 Week 4

WALT persuade other students to agree with our opinion.  This the purpose for my writing.
Success Criteria:
  1. I plan for a writing task
  2. I write a variety of sentence lengths with different sentence starters
  3. Give reasons with detail - use specific words
  4. I write most topic and high frequency words correctly.
  5. I use capital letters, full stops, question marks and exclamation marks correctly.
  6. Use persuasive language

Pets should not be allowed in school.

In my opinion pets should not be allowed In school.

My opinion is that pets should not be allowed in school.  These are the main reasons why we should not allow pets in school.

Another point is the pets can run away from the school and when they are on the road they can get hit by a car and could get badly hurt.

The pets can also cause mischief by distracting the children from their learning and they can do their business in the classroom and people can slip on the lino if a dog or cat did it’s business there.

Some children can also be allergic to furry creatures and they can get really sick and itchy, they can start to sneeze and cough.  Another point is that they can also steal your bag and book packet  and they can eat all of the food

This evidence comes to show that no school should allow pets on their grounds.
